Lincoln County Highway Committee August 1 Meeting Notes
LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Highway Committee met on Thursday August 1.
Committee Member Ken Wickham provided and update on the discussions with WisDot regarding ATV and UTV use on state and US highways, specific to use of those vehicles on Hwy 107 in the Town of Rock Falls. He shared that WisDot has requested more information regarding the CTH E and FauFau Road section. Wickham shared that an ordinance will need to be created, and WisDot will take it into consideration.
Regarding manpower, Highway Commissioner Jason Lemmer reported a previous Equipment Operator has returned to work at the Highway Department. Lemmer is in discussions with one mechanic and one highway worker looking to come work for the County. The Highway Committee’s next meeting is scheduled for Thursday Sept 5 in the County Service Center.
